Conceived and designed in the late 1920's but not actually built until 1945, the Dymaxion House was Fuller's solution to the need for a mass-produced, affordable, easily transportable and environmentally efficient house. WebFuller's more fully developed version of the Dymaxion House became known as the "Dymaxion Dwelling Machine," or the "Wichita House" (1 946).
